GOODENIA RAINFOREST WALK

If travelling from the coast assemble behind the Tea Tree Café, Lochiel at 8:30 am so we can reduce the car numbers.
Otherwise proceed independently to Goodenia Rainforest carpark by 9:15 am.

The rainforest is often slippery after rain, but there are good areas to explore without going down into the depths. And it should be cooler than the coast.
The 2.4 kilometre walk (return) takes you under the canopy and into a world that is unique to our region. At the bottom of the lush gully there is a delightful stream and bridge that is perfect for a rest before heading back to your car or the picnic area. Lunch there, with tables and BBQ available.

Address: Head south from Pambula, turn right onto Mount Darragh Road (just after Pambula). Drive for about 10 minutes and then turn right onto Chalkhills Road, following signs for the Goodenia Rainforest walk  and travel carefully, can be rough, for about 8 km.

Access
: 2WD. Rainforest walk will be slippery in wet
