48 hours in Merimbula? What to do?
If you only had 48 hours in Merimbula – here are some must do’s.
Walk the boardwalk. 3.5km round trip, weaving amongst the mangroves and sealife. Stop at Sunsets Kiosk for a cold one and a bite to eat then stroll back into town.
Magic Mountain & Mandeni. Make a day of it. Start with the tree climb challenge at Magic Mountain and work your way through the great rides, ending with the new tube ride. Then head over to Mandeni for a BBQ, water golf and archery, finishing the day with mini golf or mountain biking.
Merimbula Aquarium & Wharf – Unique sealife to be found at the Aquarium. The 70,000 litre Oceanarium is a stand-out feature with 28 tanks full of local and tropical marine life. Open daily from 10am. Feeding time is 11:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Monday to Friday inclusive during school holidays.
Surrounded by waterways, water activities are a must do in Merimbula (yes, we include Autumn in this statement). Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and swimming in the warmer months. Take a Dolphin cruise or charter boat to fish. You’re spoiled for choice of operators – they’re all here on our website.
